More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics
Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has exceeded over one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances news european parliament and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The prevention effort is part of wider social programmes supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
